Overview

Develops and conducts seminars on the Order’s life insurance products for members and their families.  Assists Field Agents in developing sales concepts for life insurance and joint sales work.  Plans, builds and leads development of life insurance and annuity marketing campaigns that align with the Order’s goals. Helps Agents develop targeted marketing strategies for life insurance and annuity products. Collaborates with Field Performance Specialists, Regional Vice Presidents, and other regional resources on in-person sales support for Agents in the field.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop seminars and presentations for members and their families showcasing our life insurance and annuity products.
  • Travel to local councils and parishes to present seminars with Agents.
  • Collaborate with Agents to develop sales strategies and presentations for potential clients.
  • Develop strategy for marketing life and annuity products and campaigns to align with that strategy, including drafting the marketing materials and working closely with the Marketing team to ensure the final drafts align with the Order’s strategy.

Compensation

The wage range for this role takes into account a broad array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The range below applies as long as the work is performed in Connecticut; the Knights of Columbus reserves the right to adjust the wage range if the position is performed in another location.  At the Knights of Columbus, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $104,500 - $172,400.

Skills Qualifications

  • Experience with Life Insurance and Annuity products.
  • Superb presentation skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.

Education

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (BA in business or a related field preferred).
  • CLU required
  • LUCTF, LACP preferred

Experience:  

  • Licensed to sell life insurance and annuities in all states.
  • At least three years selling life insurance and annuities to clients.
  • Demonstrated expertise in presenting marketing seminars to potential clients.
  • Knowledge of insurance marketing regulations and strategy.
