Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail oriented PMO Analyst to support the Project Management Office (PMO) during the implementation of a new systems across the organization. The PMO Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the project's success by providing analysis, support, and oversight throughout the project lifecycle

Core Responsibilities

  • Works with project teams to understand best practices / lessons learned / methodologies related to project management.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, plans, and timelines in coordination with project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, identify any issues or deviations from the plan, and report on these to the project management team.
  • Support the PMO in managing project budgets and financials, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of expenditures.
  • Facilitate effective communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management through regular updates and reports.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop and implement mitigation strategies to manage project risks.
  • Coordinate resources and logistics to ensure that project needs are met efficiently.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and documentation for project governance meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with both internal project management standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support change management initiatives and ensure smooth adoption of the new system.
  • Provide administrative support to the PMO as needed, including meeting coordination, minute-taking, and action-item tracking.

Skills Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PMO or project management role, preferably in system implementations.
  • Strong understanding of Agile Methodology, principally the SCRUM Methodology
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies, such as PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Azure DevOps (ADO)) and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.

Education

Required:

  • BA in Business, Project Management, or another business-related field
  • 3 or more years of project management experience including at least 1 year working with Agile

 

               Preferred:

  • PMP Certification, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certifications preferred

Compensation

The wage range for this role takes into account a broad array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The range below applies as long as the work is performed in Connecticut; the Knights of Columbus reserves the right to adjust the wage range if the position is performed in another location.  At the Knights of Columbus, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $69,600-$115,000.

Authorization to work in the United States is required.
